Frequently Asked Questions

Shiva Honey

Shiva Honey or Mad Honey, what is it?

Shiva Honey or Mad Honey is honey that is collected by bees that feed off Rhododendron flower nectar. These flowers naturally contain special substances that are called Grayanotoxins. This is what makes Shiva Honey so magical. This substance is what makes you high when you eat our honey.

How come I never heard of this spiritual honey?

Because it’s so rare.

This unique type of honey is only produced in the world’s Black Sea region and in Nepal. Unless you are from any of these countries, chances are small that this product is familiar to you.

How do I consume Mad Honey?

Do not consume more as 1-2 tablespoons of Shiva Honey in any 24-hour period.

Only consume on an empty stomach. You should wait at least two full hours after a meal before consuming our Mad Honey. Originally, it is consumed before breakfast by the indigenous people of the Gurung Tribe in Nepal.

Do not consume in hot drinks or meals, as high temperatures cause the honey to lose potency.

Where is Shiva Honey made?

Shiva Honey is produced in the Black Sea region in Turkey. Due to our tight relations with our partners who negotiate fair contracts with local farmers, we are able to make a selection of the highest quality tested Mad Honey. This allows us to provide an all natural, pure experience, free of any additives.

Mad Honey does it cause visons?
